Lake Havasu Festival of Lights

Holiday Events in Lake Havasu City

The holidays are a magical time and even though Lake Havasu’s desert climate won’t be seeing any snowfall, there are plenty of awesome, family-friendly events going on throughout all of December! Those who are fortunate enough to own Lake Havasu real estate get the best of both worlds: all of the holiday events you can handle minus all of the crazy weather and terrible road conditions of colder climates. Check out some of the great events  and activities going on this month that are sure to get you and your family into the holiday spirit (if you aren’t already!)

14th Annual Christmas Tree Festival

Come by the Lake Havasu Museum of History where residents of the city will be putting their beautifully decorated Christmas trees on display. Kill two birds with one stone by seeing all of the trees and festive atmosphere while learning about the Lake Havasu City. The Christmas trees will be on display 10 AM – 4 PM, general admission is $5 and children under 12/active military are free. The display will be ongoing until January 2nd so come in before it’s gone!

Ice Skating at the London Bridge

Who says you need snowy weather to ice skate? Take in the wonder of the London Bridge while you and someone special ice skate under the twinkling lights and pine trees at the London Bridge Resort. Cool off on the ice and enjoy this traditional holiday activity – in the middle of the desert! Ice skate rentals are included in the price of admission ($10 adults/$8 Kids/$30 family pass) – because who really has ice skates in Arizona, anyway?! The ice skating rink is open weekends and weekdays in the evenings until January 1st, 2016. To check hours and find more information visit www.iceskatehavasu.com.
