08 Jan Experience the 6th Annual Havasu Balloon Festival and Fair!
Lake Havasu City is kicking off the new year with one of the most amazing, scenic celebrations around for the 6th year in a row! The 6th Annual Havasu Balloon Festival and Fair is a family-friendly event that’s sure to leave out-of-towners wishing they owned their own Lake Havasu real estate to be first in line every year! Hot air balloons are inflated starting at sunrise and lasting all day, culminating in beautiful glowing skies in the evening. This 3 day festival and fair benefits the community immensely, drawing spectators from across the country and globe (30,000 – 50,000 attendees expected!), and all proceeds are donated back to the Lake Havasu City community.
The main event of course is the balloons, as spectators watch them float over the London Bridge and even dip into the lake! Don’t forget to buy your tickets for untethered balloon rides early, and you’ll want to beat the crowds to be able to witness the mass ascension at 7:45am (and another at 4:30pm)! While the hot air balloons are the main event, there are tons of other activities and events happening all 3 days as well! Don’t miss live art demonstrations in the Art Village, live music on multiple stages with artists like Britt Invasion (Beatles Tribute), skydivers, aerial bi-plane demonstrations, walk into an inflated balloon and so much more!
