02 Oct Flagstaff Oktoberfest: Fun for the Whole Family!

Each year Flagstaff is known more and more by beer and wine connoisseurs as a great location to sample great beers from national and local breweries. The continual search for that perfect ice cold brew will be on once again tomorrow, Saturday October 3rd, for Flagstaff’s 7th Annual Oktoberfest in downtown Wheeler Park! This event is perfect for families with kids of all ages, complete with a Mug Root Beer Garden so the under-21 club won’t feel left out!

The event will of course feature a constant supply of great beers, a live polka music line-up on stage, and tons of food vendors to keep the festival fed. Other action at the event includes a family costume contest, yodeling contest, the Findlay Volkswagen Stuff the Bug Contest, men’s and women’s beer stein contests, the Arizona Snowbowl Frozen T-shirt Contest, and more!

Flagstaff Oktoberfest welcomes your leashed pets (as long as they are cleaned up after), young children, and only costs $5.00 to get in. As all the festivities are underway both The Collins Team and the organizers of Flagstaff Oktoberfest ask that you drink responsibly and designate a sober driver or utilize other forms of transportation. The excellent beers found at this event are meant to be tasted and savored, but consumed in moderation. Make sure no one in your party is planning to drink and drive!
