There’s plenty of fun to be had here in Flagstaff during spooky season for both kids and adults! Grab your costume, bundle up for the crisp fall weather and get ready for a scary good time. The COLLINS TEAM has done the research and found the top 5 upcoming Halloween events and activities!

1. Hocus Pocus Fall Festival (21+)

Thursday, October 13, 6:30 – 8:30 PM

Returning for year two, Hocus Pocus Fall Festival hosted by Mother Road Brewing, where you can enjoy drinks, listen to Halloween hits, enjoy your a trick or treat bag from Ground Up Plant Based Snacks and win prizes! There will be stations hosted by various local business like spooky essential oils, a medium to contact spirits, spirit animal readings and so much more! Click here for the low down!

2. Zombie Extravaganza Trunk or Treat and Zombie Hand Drop

Saturday, October 29, 2:30 PM

Now one for the kids! Swing by Findlay Toyota (5030 Marketplace Dr.) on the Saturday of Halloween weekend for a family-friendly event presented by Acts of Kindness where you will enjoy bounce houses, trunk-or-treating, music and all sorts of spooky fun activities! Time for the whole family to show off those costumes!

3. The Costume Run

Buffalo Park
Sunday, October 30, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Have a laugh, get some exercise and show off those costumes–all for a good cause! The Costume Run is a charity 5K where you get to enjoy a nice crisp run/walk/ride in beautiful Buffalo Park while wearing your Halloween costume! The price to attend is $25 for 13 and up, $10 for 12 and under, all donations and registration payments will go to charitable organizations like Flagstaff Family Food Center, Immigrant Family Food Share, Sage Home, Speak Up for the Poor and more. 4. 2022 Pumpkin Carve

Dark Sky Brewing
Friday, October 28 – 3 PM – 6 PM

Looking to show off your pumpkin carving skills to the world? Bring the whole family out to this free event at Dark Sky Brewing to carve pumpkins that will be featured at the 2022 Pumpkin Walk below!

5. 2022 Pumpkin Walk

The Arboretum at Flagstaff
Saturday, October 29 – 4 PM – 8 PM

Come see your pumpkin from the pumpkin carve at another great event this year at the Flagstaff Arboretum! Come hang out among the trees in the cool fall weather and enjoy spooky stories, face painting, hundreds of jack-o-lanterns, music from Lady Beard, old fashioned carnival games, beer from Dark Sky and Historic, dinner from Hatcher Shack BBQ and so much more! Families, dogs and costumes welcome! Adult Members – $13, Adult Non-Members – $17, Kids – $7.
